Saint Wulftsan’s Day Banquet 2018

Once again the Beaufort has the great honour to host a St Wulfstan banquet, actually on his Saints Day, this January 19th, starting at 7.30pm. This year it happens to be on a Friday.

Helping to keep the great man’s memory green, the Earl Greys will be providing the medieval musical accompaniment.

Bookings in advance only. Please let us know what your menu choices will be.

Winterbourne Down Border Morris at the Beaufort

morris_banner_cutoutWhat better way to celebrate a typical English summer but with Morris Dancing.

Huge thanks once again to Winterbourne Down Border Morris for brightening up a breezy night with some nifty moves.

Many of the dances were of their own creation and I must say quite brilliant, having (finally) had chance to sit down and enjoy them.

Roll on next year.

Many thanks to Rick for the pic’s.

Crack Open The Booze – With Dave Rogers and the Beaufort Regulars

It’s here finally!!!

The fabled music video from Radio Bristol’s Steve Yabsley (writer) and First Take Video’s Dave Rogers (singer).

Filmed last September, it’s taken until now for Steve and Dave to get it out (so to speak), a drinking song starring Beaufort regulars and Chipping Sodbury’s ‘Inner Wheel’ skittles aficionados – it’s a bit of a giggle and a great song.

If this doesn’t get people flocking back into pubs I don’t know what will…

Huge Hit With Ukelele Gromit

Our Ukulele Gromit event on 20th July 2013 was a huge hit with Hawkesbury’s own group of strummers playing for us. Many thanks to Tara and her team and also Pete’s unsuspecting father-in-law who ended up doing the Barbie – £142.80p was raised from the BBQ and Gromit had £91.50p in his dish. Well done old chums!
