Beaufort Arts is proud to announce yet another unique collection of works both to admire and to buy.

This time it features the work of Liverpool born artist Sam Toft and features her now infamous characters, “The Mustards”, enjoying a seaside world full of faded ice cream colours, ever present breeze and where life is utterly delicious.

The pictures are being displayed in the Beaufort Arms Art Gallery in the dining room of the pub where you’re free to come in and enjoy them.

See Sam painting on UTube.

We only have a few vacancies for our two Cradock’s events – Saturday 21st May is now full but we still have a few left for Friday 20th May.

Their last performance review was by Sheila Dillon (she presents Radio 4’s Food Programme & is generally deemed a bit iconic). She saw the Cradocks in the marquee at Food Connections on 29 April, loved it and Tweeted about it.  I’ve just pulled out her comments and here they are:-

“Brill theatre”

“What a great evening”

“What an experience”

“Scary Fanny.  As in life …”

Antique Rose Gromit is Here for this Weekend

Thanks to Yate Supplies, Antique Rose Gromit has made it to the Cotswolds once again for his annual weekend break.

He’s here to raise money for the Grand Appeal and to help draw in people for an exhibition of Bernard’s Barrels in a country pub setting. Bernard makes a range of furniture, planters and water features out of solid-oak Bordeaux wine barrels – he also supplied them for the Long John Silver Trust’s recent Treasure Island Trail.

New Market Garden at the Beaufort

Exciting times for the Beaufort Arms as PROPS are about to expand their operations in the pub.

As well as tending the Treasure Island Trail for the pubs favourite charity, the Long John Silver Trust, PROPS tend the pubs car park and beer garden.

This March they’ll be expanding their work with the addition of a “PROPS at the Beaufort Market Garden”.

Waste land in front of our railway wagon store will now be growing space for PROPS produce.

We shall be installing a concrete path and raised bed for wheelchair users and then fencing everything in to deter pooches.

More news as work progresses… but this is one of the best things the Beaufort has ever done!
